The Spring fashion collection although traditionally aimed at women has a lot on offer for men as well

More often than not men don’t really get a look in for the Spring collection,Men’s Shoes For Spring Articles relegated behind women’s clogs, shoes and boots trends, which always garner much more attention and grab all the headlines in the fashions magazines. But Spring is an important season, even for men, as we move towards the warmer part of the year male footwear also needs to be carefully considered and the emerging trends deserve some interest.

Surprisingly though, chunky will still be in this Spring. Prepare to see a lot of men’s boots traipsing around the streets as they have been doing on the catwalks. This isn’t just some simple fallout from winter’s popular footwear choices, but a general trend for the heavier side of men’s shoes moving throughout the year and crossing all seasons. Heels will remain fairly small with rubber soles that are prominent without being overpowering. And of course black and brown are still the favoured colours, along with olive green that’s proving to be a late bloomer but pundits are promising it will be exceedingly popular by mid-Spring. With the right, light weight coat or jacket, these are the sort of shoes that can make a man.

In the smart shoe range the catwalks saw a lot of loafers walk all over them last year and over Winter. What was previously for old age pensioners has apparently become an option for the young and the young at heart. In the ways of style, the trend is for sleek and glossy with lots of curved angles and thin rubber soles, keeping the overall style subtle and smooth. One of the joys of loafers is their dexterity. Depending whether you complement them with a pair of suit trousers or a decent pair of jeans, loafers can be used for an important business meeting or a fun night out.

Trainers are on the up. Not just for the fifteen year old in you, they are an increasingly acceptable form of footwear for male adults of all ages. You’ll need something with more style and sophistication than Reebok Classics of course but sneakers are definitely going to be big this Spring. They are best worn with a fresh pair of jeans, navy rather than stone washed white, a style which has over-saturated the jean scene for far too long. Another major advantage of trainers is the colossal amount of wear you can get out of them. As for colours, neutral is a safer bet but bright bold colours are more interesting and guarantee to catch the eye. Mix them with a matching shirt and you’ve got a great casual outfit.

The right pair of shoes are the perfect way to ground an outfit and this Spring promises to see some interesting trends come into fashion, footwear with flare as much as footwear that’s restrained and accomplished.
