They are more at ease and connected with what this technology can do and find it less threatening to share personal information and bits of information about their personal daily lives.
The internet blanket has covered a whole generation that have never know everyday life without this marvelous technology and have adapted to using it for interaction with peers that follow different behavior rules. Sharing intimate details are considered normal for most any situation and is no more alarming than a casual phone conversation with a strangers. However, this can be as dangerous as a stalker or home invader with serious consequences.
Modesty and shame have gone away because there is nothing wrong anymore. Whatever you choose to do is okay, as long as you post videos on YouTube and Tweet about it later. This may be okay once in a while, but it can really get you in trouble if you are not careful. It is like anything else and any other new technology that has come around over the past hundred years. In moderation and with care it can be a very good and very helpful thing, but it can be a two way street if you are not careful.
