Exterior and Interior
Murcielago has a wedge-shaped profile and features steel roof, door panels, as well as scissor-style doors. The coupe model features a large carbon fiber body work and roadster has a canvas roof.
The mirrors can be folded back electronically, which can be mounted on long arms to help the drivers to see beyond the prominent rear fenders.
The exterior features 18-inch wheels with high-performance tires, auto-dimming, heated mirrors, chrome-finished exhaust, and bi-xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps.
Inside Murcielago, you’ll find leather-upholstered seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, untreated leather interior, auto- dimming rearview mirror, and optional interior Carbon Package.
Few of the optional features include navigation system, Alcantara headliner, and piano black or carbon fiber interior accents.
2010 Lamborghini MurcielagoLP640 coupe and roadster are powered by a 6.5-L V12 engine, which delivers 632 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. LP 670-4 SuperVeloce coupe is equipped with a mammoth 6.5-liter V-12 engine that produces 661 horsepower with 487 pound-feet of torque.
The engine is paired to a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed automated manual transmission with manual-shift controls.
According to Lamborghini, the SuperVeloce accelerates up to 62 mph in no time, and achieve top speed of 209 mph. LP640 is expected to accelerate up to 62 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph.
Fuel mileage with the automatic transmission is 9 mpg city/14 mpg highway and 11 mpg combined, while the manual transmission fuel economy is estimated to be 8mpg in city, 13mpg in expressways, resulting in overall gas mileage of 11 mpg.
