Trips don't always turn out the way they are planned, so it is very important to have back-up plans. Every place offers variety of places, historic, cultural, social clubs, and religious, natural, ethnic and many more.

I have an example, a trip that almost cost me my three months' salary was saved due to one of my friend's intensive research, lest it would have gone hay-ward leaving all of us depressed.
I was traveling to Hiawassee Atlanta, on a weekend, with two of my friends. We made all the bookings to avoid any hustle because our trip was really short. A cheap Car rental was hired, air tickets were booked, hotels were done and everything seemed perfect. Unfortunately, it so happened that no sooner did we arrived the airport, weather deteriorated and route to our destination (Lake Chanute) got obstructed. We were upset, our weekend was ruined and we had no say in it. However, one of my two friend , who is an ardent traveler at heart and a pig head took us for a drive to some flea market.(thanks to the car rental company that our car was well maintained, we drove safely in outraged weather and it didn't broke-down) It was a handicraft market, we not only saw amazing culture treasures of Hiawassee Ga there, but also got an opportunity to mingle with the native people of Atlanta. We stayed there, celebrated with them, bought lot of beautiful stuff for our friends back home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our memories of Hiawassee have been bad had it not been my friend's research and our cheap car rental (Bilutleie) service. None of us (other friend and me) bothered to find out nearby places because we had already thought of one destination we had to travel, given, that we were traveling only for two days. However, since then I had made it a point to look for every possible detail about the place I travel to. That ensures me a great trip ahead.
