The Redesigned Newly Improved 2010 Mustang

The 2010 Mustang was promised to be a car that would be more attractive, handle better and outperform its predecessors. Well they have delivered, and it is all it was said to be. The base models receive higher grade components than previous years. Many of the mechanical components were retained from previous years, however with the base model being elevated, this trend is continued upwards.

The 2010 Mustang is essentially a muscle car that performs like a sports car. From its stylish good looks, offering much curb appeal, to its greatly improved handling, this car will get your heart beating. It accomplishes all this while continuing to use many of the basic mechanical components of previous year Mustangs.

This new era of Mustang maintains the same roof as the previous ones, but that is where the similarities end. The 2010 Mustang gets a totally new body, and it is a very sexy one. Start with the relocated antenna, hidden washers, recessed indicators and add a hood with a bulge and more creases in the body and it all combines for a distinct new attractive package.

The interior received its share of attention as well. The addition of aluminum trim is one that the designers at Ford are really proud of. Shiny newly designed instruments and My Color LED lighting with greater sound proofing make for a remarkably less rental car feel.

Even with the use of the live rear axle, it took severe provocation for the Mustang's rear end to get out of control. The front undercover, which comes standard, greatly helped reduce the lift, by as much as twenty three percent. The same engines were carried over with some extra accessories to increase horsepower and torque.

The suspensions on the new mustangs are inherited from one model up the range in previous mustangs. This means the base mustang in 2010 will have the same suspension system as the previous mustangs that were one level above base.

The standard equipment while being fantastic, only tells half the story. The optional equipment on the other hand is something to get excited about. From base model to race ready, all the equipment you need is available at your Ford dealer.

Add some nineteen inch wheels wrapped in summer performance tires, the carbon plate diff and suspension from the GT 500, throw in some front strut braces and you're sure to get your motor revving. This is some of what the track pack offers.

All models receive traction and stability control as standard equipment. For the 2010 model the inclusion of a sport mode in the traction/stability system allows the ability to perform those impressive sliding manoeuvres that you've always dreamed of. With the rounded out list of optional equipment of your choiceArticle Search, the 2010 mustang promises to be the car of choice for many enthusiasts.
