We are quite optimistic about the way India is progressing into the future. This feeling emanates from the fact that India is trying every possible bit to become digital to create smarter cities through campaigns like Digital India and Smart Cities Mission.

Customized Kitchen India (CKI) has found the schemes extremely value-adding in future to evolve Indian citizens’ overall quality of life. These schemes are not only going to take our lives toward smart approach,A cue from smart cities—for next-gen smart kitchens Articles but would also create an environment where people can adapt to changes quickly.

The hospitality and travel industry will benefit a lot with the development of smart cities in India. CKI expects that smart digital commercial kitchen equipment could benefit the industry a lot to sync its agenda with that of the government’s. Not only will the progress would ensure more tourists coming into the country, it will also offer an opportunity to increase the domestic travel visits as well.

The F&B sector will benefit a lot with this. Food has to be a constant drive for the benefit of travel and tourism. Therefore, smart kitchens could be the next step within the domain of hospitality. We might be predicting the future too early, but if smart ordering service—with digital approach to raise kitchen order tickets (KOTs)—is a reality, the day is not far when ‘smart’ approaches become the reality for the kitchens in Indian hospitality outlets/shops.

Digital equipment might be able to create a new era of kitchen revolution. They certainly would have to bring forth the importance of remote monitoring, and smart and efficient technology to give measured outcomes. This will be critical to big establishments who might set their eyes on launching their brands off shore or count themselves among the global competitive environment.

Digital revolution might be a distant dream in the commercial kitchen equipment space, but it is difficult to say that it won’t happen in future. We think it certainly will … if not sooner, later.
