An Overview of the Tamerica DuraCoil EL Electric Coil InserterWhen it comes to spiral-coil inserters, most are alike. However, a new machine that was recently introduced by Tamerica products has changed the way that coil-inserting works. In fact the revolutionary design of the DuraCoil EL really makes it stand out from many of the other coil inserters on the market. When it comes to spiral-coil inserters, most are alike. They usually have two spinning rollers that help you to spin the coils onto the edge of your books. However, a new machine that was recently introduced by Tamerica products has changed the way that coil-inserting works. In fact the revolutionary design of the DuraCoil EL really makes it stand out from many of the other coil inserters on the market. Here are a couple of the things that make it such a unique machine.1. Roller Size: The DuraCoil EL includes just one roller as opposed to two. Other machines such as the GBC CC2700 and the Rhin-O-Tuff Rhino Roll use two spinning rollers. However, the single roller in this new machine is considerably larger than the rollers on any of the other spiral inserters available on the market. This large roller makes coil insertion easier than ever especially for larger documents. 2. Roller Design: The roller on the Tamerica DuraCoil EL has a unique grooved pattern that aids in gripping the coil for faster insertion. The grooved pattern also helps to ensure that the rubber surface does not become worn smooth (a problem with other coil-inserters that are used heavily). 3. Teflon coated plate: The Duracoil-EL has a patented Teflon coated plate at the bottom of the roller to help ease insertion. The concept of the Teflon coated plate is very interesting, not only does it allow the coil to spin freely but it also provides a place for larger diameter coils to rest so that you don't have to suspend the coil in the air. 4. Coil Back Stop: The first time that I tried inserting coil onto a book I managed to spin it right off the other side. This is actually not uncommon. The DuraCoilEL is the only coil inserter that I know of that has a stop to prevent the spiral coil from spinning to far on the book. This is a great feature for individuals who aren't seasoned coil inserting professionals.
5. Price: At less than half the price of the comparable GBC model the
Tamerica DuraCoil provides great bang for your buck. Plus Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
