Bears among us

A big range of living environment in the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere are inhabited by eight living varieties of bears. They are seen in Asia, Europe, North and South America.

Bears are scattered of their natural habitats across the Northern hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere where eight living varieties live. They are seen in Asia, Europe, North and South America. They are varieties with a huge body with stocky legs, long snouts and hair which is shaggy with 5 paws and a small tail.

Considered as medium sized, they have got rounded shaped bodies than their cousins. Furs appear white with black ears and black teardrop circles around the eye area. the Panda's black and white color is mostly a defense mechanism from their enemies that camouflage them from enemies by blending in the black mountain rock terrain and the white snow. They eat mainly on bamboos consuming from 30 to 45 pounds per day. Since bamboo is low in nutrition but highly fibrous, they consume that much everyday to balance their nutrition intake. They reside around the top of the Yangtze basin and across isolated areas of Southern China.
A wandering animal into the bears territory can easily be overpowered by it. Alaska has the biggest grizzly ever recorded that weighs 1200 pounds and 10 feet tall. It's life lasts from 20  to 30 years. It is mostly found in the continental U.S. limited at the areas of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Washington. Their count is 31,000 in Alaska and 21,000 in Western Canada.
- Polar Bear - Polar bears are respected by the Inuit people. It is sacred for them to hunt polar bears and be sure in their pursuit showing utmost respect. It is our attitude and behavior that shows no respect to the polar bear. They number to 25,000 today witth 19 of the subpopulation in the region along the Arctic in which 8 are confirmed to be declining, 1 is increasing and the rest have no known variables.
They inhabit the forests and mountains of Europe, Asia, and the Northern part of North America. These bears dig dens or are in caves for winter hibernation. The largest brown bears live in Coastal British Columbia and Alaska and on an island like Kodiak. Although huge in size, these bears can run very fast at 30 miles per hour.
Roots, grasses, berries, and insects include the food intake of black bears that exist in North America. They will settle with fish and mammals too. Despite their name, black bears could be blue black, brown or cinnamon, or sometimes white.  
People are a danger to Bears and never the other way around. Be in your  presence of your mind when going around bear country as you see them fooling around in their natural home.
