Alaska has the biggest grizzly ever recorded that weighs 1200 pounds and 10 feet tall. It's life lasts from 20 to 30 years. It is mostly found in the continental U.S. limited at the areas of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Washington. Their count is 31,000 in Alaska and 21,000 in Western Canada. - Polar Bear - Polar bears are respected by the Inuit people. They inhabit the forests and mountains of Europe, Asia, and the Northern part of North America. These bears dig dens or are in caves for winter hibernation. The largest brown bears live in Coastal British Columbia and Alaska and on an island like Kodiak. Although huge in size, these bears can run very fast at 30 miles per hour. Roots, grasses, berries, and insects include the food intake of black bears that exist in North America. They will settle with fish and mammals too. Despite their name, black bears could be blue black, brown or cinnamon , or sometimes white. People are a danger to Bears and never the other way around.
