The concept of Partitions emerged only because of the lack of the place to live and even to work.

In recent years this thing has got a lot of appreciation in all fields of life. It provides a productive environment where you are connected with all the people around you without sacrificing your privacy.

Here is no doubt in saying that most of the office areas have limitations regarding the available work space. The creative and innovative use of partition may work out this problem very well. On the other hand it also enhances the beauty and creates synchronization.  We can use different types of materials to make partitions: glass, wood, and aluminum are the most popular choices. In case of creating office areas along with the main office, or the conference room, glass partition is the best choice. It is made from toughened safety glass. On the other hand for creating partitions at the larger area, wood and aluminum are being used.

Now the question is, in what ways and styles it can be used? The answer is quite simple. You can use it without hesitation in any style which suits you. There are three basic types of the Partitions: half height partitions, Floor-to-ceiling office partitions, Accordion office partitions.

Half height partitions are the most suitable and widely used partition. This is the best choice if you wish to accommodate many people under a roof without creating a sense of over crowdedness, then you must go for it. It starts from the floor and stops a few meters short of the ceiling. Normally they have a height of 5 to 7 feet. These are mostly used as semi enclosed cabins for the employees.

Floor-to-ceiling office partitions are basically used in a quiet environment where you are in great need of segregation along with maintaining interaction with you office fellows. These are the full partitions starting from the floor and ending to the ceiling. Theses are considered to be temporary walls than screens. In these partitions metal frames, cloth covered wood, or foam-core plasterboard are being used. These not only provide good privacy but also are very effective in reducing the noise pollution effect.

Accordion office partitions are also very popular and effective. They also have the same function as floor to ceiling partitions but the dissimilarity is that they allow easy access between two separate offices. These are famous because these provide effective control over sound pollution but also make the working coordination easy.
