The Artist Strategic Alliance Group or ASAG is an alliance that was formed to protect the interests of artists. Several conjunctures lead to Gamut Control and Gamut Fine Art Publishing's inspiration to form this alliance, and thus, the art world has a new force watching out for the aspiring and established artist.

ASAG or the Artist Strategic Alliance Group is an alliance that was formed in 2004 but was recently expanded to include an advisory board to oversee the decisions made within Gamut Fine Art Publishing and protect the rights of artists. The alliance was formed to police the whole artistic process and keep everyone in check during each step taken to benefit the artist.   Several veteran and well-respected artists as well as art magazine publishers are on the board and excited about how this alliance will strengthen the artistic community as a whole.  Jamie Forbes,Gamut Control and Gamut Fine Art Publishing form the Artist Strategic Alliance Group Articles the publisher of Fine Art Magazine, is one of the advisory board members.  She is very well known in the fine art community and is a living legend of fine art.  Forbes is fully supportive of the advisory board and will continue to assist Gamut Control’s venture to expose their profound technology nationally as well as internationally.

Gamut Control and Gamut Fine Art Publishing have wonderful intentions of growing this alliance to become even greater than it is now.  This idea originally came about after these two companies began to identify their own marketing weaknesses.  They have had their own faults and shortcomings along the way but have corrected them and created the alliance to police themselves and protect the artists they represent.  They have taken major steps to improve databases, develop new marketing strategies, and have added people to their team to correct administrative weak points.  This has taken much time, effort, and money, but they believe it will pay off for them as well as their faithful artists.

The future of ASAG is being built on helping artists avoid unnecessary downfalls in their careers by being taken advantage of.  Too many in the past have taken money from artists promising success but not holding up their end of the bargain to market and advertize the artists’ works.  Other companies have also promised quality limited editions only to continue to reprint and lower the value of the art and artist.  There are so many demoralized people out there who prey on artists and their desire to live their dream as artists.  ASAG was designed to prevent these atrocities from occurring.  The board members are all there in good faith for the benefit of artists to keep organizations and publishing houses in check and hold them accountable for their actions.  It is hopeful that this alliance will become one of the most well respected and trusted alliances in the art community.  They eventually want to be a force to be reckoned with so that scammers across the country and worldwide know they can no longer go unseen and unprosecuted.  ASAG has big plans for the future, but for now is still in its beginning phases of formation.  The organization is growing and molding together quite well, but still has a way to go.  Their training grounds will for now be with Gamut Control, LLC, Gamut Fine Art Publishing, LLC, and the Art Couture Gallery, Inc.  The alliance is also working in conjunction with Fine Art Magazine and Art Business News to bring about a new age in the art-making and distributing process.

ASAG is looking to a prosperous 2009 and believes this year will be the first of many substantial years.  Their new beginning starts on the ninth of January, 2009 at the celebrity gala event at Art Couture Gallery.  Gamut Control will be represented along with their best of the best, revolutionary artists showing their support.   Gamut Fine Art Publishing as well as the major fine art magazines, Art Business News and Fine Art Magazine, will also be in attendance.  ASAG would like to encourage the rest of the fine art community to join them at this event and kick off the New Year with a bang!
