The
A530pro has a heavy duty metal rail that the rotary blade holder
travels along. This metal bar along with the clamping system included
on the A530 helps to ensure perfectly straight cuts every time.
In
addition to the extra long cutting length offered by the A530pro it
also offers a large heavy duty metal cutting table. The cutting table
is marked with both imperial and metric measurements and also has an
alignment grid printed on the cutting table. The alignment grid is
designed to help in ensuring that materials are straight square before
cutting.
The A530pro has a unique clamping system that is not
found on most other professional rotary trimmers. The clamping system
helps to hold items in place during trimming and also locks the metal
rail in place so the blade travels true and straight.
The A530 also includes a transparent cutting guide that helps to show you the exact path that the blade will travel.
The
A530pro is made almost entirely of metal and not plastic. This helps to

Although
the A530 Pro is rated to cut up to 30 sheets of paper, it is best used
as a paper trimmer and not a paper cutter. The blade will last longer
and quality will be much better for trimming materials a few sheets at
a time than it will be for high volume cutting applications.
