How and Why Photography Businesses Can and Should Share Images Over a NetworksMethod 1 Move files to the public folders. If the files are in a public folder and you share them from that location then everyone who uses the computer and everyone on the network will be able to see those see and use those folders. If you so desire, you can restrict people to simply viewing files and not actually editing those files. Method 2 1. Choose which files you wish to share. 2. If you have been in the photography business for long, you probably have a number of old computers lying around with expensive and perfectly functional (but outdated) software on it. Now that these computers can easily access your images over the network, use them to add copyright information, resize for web, and run contrast actions against your images. Utilizing the computing power of these old computers over the network , will allow your main machine to remain lean and mean so that you can get your creative work completed more efficiently.
