After obtaining affiliate marketing skills, How to Make a Reputation as an Affiliate Marketer Articles you will want to showcase these skills to the world.  Simply put: you will want to get a job.  It’s a hard economy right now to find work.  You will need to separate yourself from the competition if you want to actually earn money at your craft.  The following bullet points should help you find a job.

·         Creating a blog will help you form an identity in the affiliate marketing world.  Employers are very likely to check out an interviewee’s blog.  They will read all of the entrees, and decide if the candidate knows what they are talking about.  They will also take the amount of viewers into consideration.  If you are trying to get into advertising, then you need to be good at shaping public opinion.  Your blog can show that you have this skill if you have a lot of viewers.  This will be worth more than many other job qualifications.

·         When you create a blog you need to remember to make it look pleasing to an employer.  You don’t want it to look like something out of the early nineties.  It needs to draw professional eyes to it.  So, be tame in your blog aspirations, but also make it poppy enough to be popular.

·         When you are building your resume, you will need to include experiences that show that you know how to lead.  Many companies are looking for future leaders when they hire people.  That is why you will need to show how you have lead people in the past.  Include whatever you can.  If you really haven’t ever lead anyone before, then maybe that’s something you should start doing.  You can volunteer places as a leader if you have to.

·         One of the first things an employer looks for when they see a resume is what you’ve been doing lately.  If you have been living off unemployment for six months, you will be a lot less marketable.  You need to have something to show for yourself.  Even if you haven’t been doing anything, you need to put something down.  So, start doing something right now.

·         This is all about affiliate marketing.  Look back at all of the affiliates that you have worked with.  They can be future employers if you play your cards right.  You should still have their contact information.  Give them a call and see if they are hiring.  If they had a good experience working with you, then they might just hire you.

Now that you’ve started your job search, you will need to follow these rules quite stringently.  These are all important parts of your future.  If you mess up on any of these, you will jeopardize your potential to be hired.  A hirable person is nothing like the unemployed.  They are something special.  These rules will turn you into this kind of a special person.  With all luck intact, people will want to hire you.  They will want you to work for them.
