Akiles is known for making high-quality laminators and binding machines, and they've done so again with their new iSeries machines. This lineup features brand new laminators as wellas twin-loop and color coil binding devices that look great and are packed with special features. Here's a short introduction to these new products....

1.) The iWire. This is a twin-loop wire binding machine that comes in two varieties: 2:1 pitch (the iWire 21) and 3:1 pitch (iWire 31). The iWire can punch up to 15 sheets of paper at a time and it can bind documents that are up to 1.25” thick. If you need help selecting the right spines for your documents, you can take advantage of this device's spine selector guide. Each one of the units has a built-in wire closer for your convenience. Some of this product's other stand-out features include harden steel punching dies, an ergonomically friendly handle, and an anti-dust cover to keep the iWire's interior clean.

2.) The iCoil. If you're interested in binding with color coils, an iCoil machine is the perfect choice. Like the iWire devices, the iCoil is available in two varieties: the 41 and 41+. Each machine has an electric coil inserter that can bind documents that are up to 7/8”. If you want to bind larger documents, you can do so manually. (If you do that, your books can be up to 2” thick.) There's a spine selector guide so you can choose the right binding supplies for your documents. The iCoil comes with a pair of coil crimpers and there's even a storage space for them that's built right into the device. This product offers a 15-page punching capacity and it will process your paper vertically for great results.

3.) The iLam. Finally, we have the iLam laminators. There are two types available: the 240 which can laminate items that are up to 9.4” wide and the 340 that can process things up to 13.4” across. These laminators have four heated rollers for crystal clear results and they can do both hot and cold lamination. You can use laminating pouches that are from 3 to 7 mil thick and there's a jam release function you can use if your pouch gets jammed in the device. Like the iWire, the iLam has a dust cover that will prevent the gears from getting dusty, which can really increase the life of your machine. And you don't even need to use a carrier when using one of these devices, which can help you save a little bit of time.

One more thing: all of these products are backed by a one-year warranty so you're covered if you encounter any problems with the device you select.

As you can see, the products in Akiles' iSeries have a lot to offer you.
