Laguna Beach Photographers: Use a Multi-Prong Approach to Marketing

Marketing is essential for Orange County photographers.

A significant percentage of photographers produce terrific images and yet continue to struggle to make ends meet. Most often the cause of the struggle is tied to a lack of effective marketing. In order to market effectively, a photographer needs use a multi-prong approach. This articles looks at a number of different ways in which a small photography business can market its services. If you own a small struggling photography business look through this list and choose any which may work well for your particular strengths and situation.

1. Market on Facebook. This is a great method for marketing if your primary client will be High School seniors. Offer free prints to a number of well connected seniors at a given high school. Create some beautiful images of these students. Tag these students on their Facebook page. This will expose your images to all of their friends. Many of these "friends" will likely consider using you for their senior portraits.
