Strengths:
Safety and automatic features offer easy,
dependable use. A clear shield guards the opening and prevents
fingers from coming into contact with the blades. When items are slid
into the feed, a photo cell detects them and starts shredding
instantly. An "Easy Switch" controls stand-by, stop, and reverse
functions in a single element with backlit icons that show
operational status. The stop function is automatically triggered
if the shred bin is full, the cabinet is open, or there is a paper
jam. Blades are easily unclogged as the auto reverse sends
jammed items back out to the user. After one hour of no activity, the
machine powers down to a sleep mode in an effort to conserve
electricity.
The hardened steel blades are powered by a
robust single phase motor. The engine is rated for continuous
operation and is double protected against overheating. A sturdy chain
drive system is kept running smoothly by an automatic oil
injection system. Durable gears are housed in a dustproof
