New online business directory launched for the UK

HotFrog, an online-only directory developed in Australia, has now launched a UK site.

The directory is published by Reed Business Information Australia (RBIA). The HotFrog directory is one of only a few Web 2.0 products developed in Australia,New online business directory launched for the UK Articles and has now been exported to over 14 locations globally. The site www.hotfrogUK.co.uk only lists businesses operating in the UK. Anyone can list on HotFrog for free and add as much text to their listing as they want to describe their company and product. Businesses can also add their latest news and information about their products to their listing.

HotFrog also allows listees to categorise their business themselves using their own terms rather than have to fit their company into an existing category structure that may not allow them to accurately describe their business.

All development, design and implementation work on the HotFrog product takes place in Australia and is led by a team based in Sydney. Each HotFrog serves up local content to the country it is based in.
