The fee for filing a patent is Rs.1000 for individuals and Rs 4000 for legal entities. The patent office levies no extra charge for a specification document containing up to 30 pages .However ,if it exceeds 30 pages a cost of Rs. 100 ( for individuals) and Rs. 400( For legal entities) is charged. In addition to this, you need to submit relevant documents to verify your identity or address.
