You also want t a property manager that will take the time to check out the prospective tenants. Not every prospective tenant that comes in to rent is going to take care of your place as you would. You want to weed out those that might have a habit of not paying rent, doing drugs, or worse. Those are not necessarily the people you want in your homes. A quick background check, credit check, and employment check is in your best interest so that you are certain that the person you are renting to is going to make the monthly payment on time and not destroy your place.
