QBs
in Madden NFL 10 have changed since other vesions. The methodologies used to
take advantage them efficiently are not the same, and what you should do to
take advantage of this, and make certain that you do not have any issues in the
adjustment between old versions and this version.
Running
passers are not as well. There are less great running passers in the National
Football League. Vince Young is no longer a superb passer, and the fact that he
is such a bad passer now offsets his skills to run. Michael Vick is no longer
the efficient player he once was, either. There are little other good running
quarterbacks, and the adjusted characteristics make sure that you can not just
insert a speedy quarterback with poor passing and abuse the defense.
Passing
long is more difficult. If you want to pass deep, make sure you have an awesome
QB before proceeding. And by great, I mean a QB with a great long throw rating.
Also make sure you are hurling to a superb receiver against a subpar
cornerback. All of these together mean far throwing is no longer as good of a
choice.
The
differences between passers are smaller. With more characteristics available to
classify each QB, you can feel the large changes and little differences between
each QB. This means that quarterbacks with deep accuracy really have deep touch
and not just a rock arm. You can break a lot more tackles with Ben
Roethlisberger, and sling accurate throws with Peyton Manning.
