Prepunched paper is generally available with eight different hole patterns to match all of the major binding styles used in the marketplace. In fact, the patterns that we use should be identical to your punch in your office making it possible for you to add pages or punch your own custom covers.

The most common punching patterns are:

Hospitals, health care institutions, dentists and mortgage companies sometimes use other hole patterns in their filing systems. For these applications, two hole, five hole and seven hole patterns are used. These are often used when fastening documents into file folders or medical charts. Unfortunately it can be somewhat difficult to find a punch to use with these hole patterns since most of the punches are designed for three hole punching.
