Have you ever seen that commercial where a group of employees is sitting around a table and the boss announces that he needs copies of their presentation printed and bound by 8:00am. One employee responds "I guess it will be an all nighter" and begins gulping down coffee? Perhaps you have felt that way at one time or another. Binding documents can be extremely time consuming.

If you have ever had to use a desktop manual binding machine to bind 100 or 1000 documents I am sure you have. However, now there is a better solution. With prepunched binding paper you can eliminate the need to punch all those pages. Simply print directly onto the punched paper and your documents will be ready to bind. Plus you can buy binding covers to go along with your paper, further simplifying the process.

Prepunched paper is generally available with eight different hole patterns to match all of the major binding styles used in the marketplace. In fact, the patterns that we use should be identical to your punch in your office making it possible for you to add pages or punch your own custom covers.

The most common punching patterns are:

19 Hole Comb Binding Paper 3:1 Pitch Wire Binding Paper, Prepunched 4:1 Pitch Coil Binding Paper with either 43 or 44 holes 11 Hole Velobind Paper 3:1 Pitch Proclick Pronto Paper 3 Hole Punched Paper and Prepunched 2:1 Pitch Wire Binding Paper

Hospitals, health care institutions, dentists and mortgage companies sometimes use other hole patterns in their filing systems. For these applications, two hole, five hole and seven hole patterns are used. These are often used when fastening documents into file folders or medical charts. Unfortunately it can be somewhat difficult to find a punch to use with these hole patterns since most of the punches are designed for three hole punching. This type of paper can save these types of organizations a lot of time and effort.

Next time you think about that huge punching job, maybe you should consider this option. You should be able to find it in almost any pattern and in your choice of weights (20lbArticle Submission, 24lb and 28lb are the most common). These great options give you a huge number of choices in deciding on the look and feel of your reports and documents. Try it for yourself and discover just how much time and money you can save.
