Coach Training
Article give you some useful tips on coach training, how to become a coach, professional coaching and more. I got an email the other day from a coach who went to a networking event and 7 out of the 29 people there were coaches! First, “Holy Cow” coaching has come a long way!! I remember when people were like 'what's a coach?' and I was the only one at an event of 100 people! 7 in a room of only 29? Wow!! 2nd, the way to stand out is to not be a coach. I really don't market myself as a coach, I focus on the situation people have problems with that I solve. Also, if you have a target market or niche, that will be huge for standing out. You'll have 6 coaches that are trying to 'educate' people on what coaching is... And then there will be YOU telling people about a problem you solve and who you solve it for. It might go something like (if you're a relationship coach for women): 'I help women who are frustrated because all the 'good ones' are taken or gay, to become one of the lucky ladies who have taken one of them off the market. I do this by helping them overcoming their fears, doubts, and insecurities and teaching them the secrets to capturing the hearts and minds of high quality men!Bottom line: Focus on who you help, and how you help them and stop focusing on yourself, your coaching, or the other coaches at the event.
