Finding the best Recruitment Agencies

No annotation specified

In the title, of course, the meaning is ... the best Recruitment Agencies "for you".

Recruitment Agencies have shops and offices in city centre High Streets, just like Building Societies, and Estate Agents, and all the rest. You may not have noticed them before ... but look around and you'll see that they are there.

At any one time Recruitment Agenciesare likely to have a number of jobs on their books and also a number of job-seekers. In effect the employers notify the agencies when they have vacancies and the agencies then check through their lists of job-seekers to look for potential matches.

In this way the Recruitment Agencies are often able to offer the employers an almost immediate ready-made short list, of candidates ready for them to interview. This can save the employers a great of time and (therefore) money.

It doesn't cost anything for job-seekers to register with Recruitment Agencies. The employers pay them "recruitment fees" when one of their recommended candidates is appointed. If an agency doesn't find the successful candidate, then it doesn't earn the fee.

To the casual observer it might seem like a good idea to sign up with every agency in sight. Right? Well not necessarily! Different Recruitment Agencies have their own specialities and have working relationships with different employers. Some may be more in tune with your aspirations than others. Go and talk to them and choose the best one or two.

Recruitment Agencies can do a lot to help you get the kind of job that you really want. Over a period of time they may well spend quite some time helping and advising you. They will do this because they will be hoping to earn a fee when the place you into your job.

But if a Recruitment Agency thinks that you have registered with a whole multitude of other agencies they may well then reason that their chance of earning the recruitment fee from your appointment is correspondingly reduced. You are not likely to get the best service from them if they think they are unlikely to earn a fee. Both you, and they, could end up wasting your time.

To get the best service from a Recruitment Agency you will need to build up a professional working relationship with them. Go and see them, and be precise about exactly what your requirements are. make sure that you understand exactly what it is that they are offering to do for you. This way you will avoid wasting time ... theirs and yours.

If you don't feel that this professional working relationship is developing as well as it should, then find another agency and start again. Once you get settled with a Recruitment Agency they will help you not only with your current job-searchBusiness Management Articles, but future one as well.

Good Luck
