Nursing school is a long,How To Flunk Out Of Nursing School - 5 Surefire Tips Articles challenging experience, lasting from one year for Licensed Practical Nurses to four years for a traditional bachelor's of science in nursing program.

Follow these five suggestions, and you are bound to fail out of nursing school.

  • Don't plan ahead for childcare and any child-related emergencies that may happen.

Children may fall ill and need someone to stay home with them; children need help with schoolwork at the end of the day, children need someone to bring them to and pick them up from school... even if you have a 12-hour clinical planned. But don't line up friends and family who can give you emergency backup care for your kids. If it's ok with you to fail classes or get booted out of nursing school, then don't plan with foresight.

  • Don't prepare for financial emergencies as well.

It's not uncommon for a family to meet unplanned financial needs -- car repair expenses, a roof that suddenly leaks, a kid that falls ill -- these things happen. And when you're in nursing school, it's impossible for you to work full time. By not preparing for sources of emergency cash, you'll be forced to devote more time for work and less time for studies -- a sure way to flunk nursing school.

  • Study like a typical high school kid or college student.

Forget the fact that nursing school is much more intense and you have to keep your grades up to a certain level or leave the program. Party first, study later. Gulp down lots of coffee, do some late night cramming sessions to memorize those hundreds of pages of test material for the exam the following day... what's the worst that could happen?

  • Don't look into nursing as a career BEFORE you start school.

Just follow the money and ignore what nursing actually requires. You'll find out soon enough that nursing school is a combination of rigorous training, stress, heavy responsibilities, and yes, body fluids too. Should that be the time then to ponder if you're in the suitable career?

  • Juggle a lot of responsibilities at the same time.

Pay no heed to those who say you can't work full time and study nursing full time as well. They're probably just a bunch of ninnies. Sleep's over-rated, right? And how much coursework could there really be in nursing school?

The choice is up to you: follow the above steps and fail big time in nursing school; or do the the opposite and achieve the nursing career you've always wanted.
