Since its release in March 2010, the HTC Desire is a versatile handset offering users a number of exciting key features. These range from a large AMOLED touch screen, 5 mega pixel camera, and the revolutionary Android operating system.

The HTC Desire provides substantial amounts of internal storage as well as expandable memory in the shape of an integrated micro SD the card slot with a pre-installed 4 gigabyte memory card.  This can be expanded by installing a memory card of up to 32GB.  Along with the popular Photocall function, the HTC Desire boasts an impressive internal phonebook which can store a large number of contacts.

Coupled with its light weight of 135 g, the HTC Desire is a pocket friendly option, thanks to its compact dimensions.  Black, silver and brown colour schemes add variety to the handset options and offer appealing style to an already attractive handset.

The HTC Desire provides excellent features for staying connected to both the Internet and cellular networks.  The latter is connected to courtesy of EDGE & GPRS, both of which are provided in class 10 versions.  Internet connections are provided via both 3G coverage and Wi-Fi Technology.  The former is available at speeds of up to 7.2 mega bytes per second courtesy of an HSDPA connection as well as HSUPA at 2 MB per second.  Integrated Wi-Fi Technology allows users to gain a much faster Internet connection by utilising the signals provided by wireless Internet routers.  Bluetooth and micro USB connections are both provided in order to connect the handset to compatible phones and computers, whereby users can complete a number of tasks.

Many different types of mobile phone user are catered for thanks to the HTC Desire providing a versatile range of features and applications allowing users to stay entertained and productive on the move.  Social networkers are provided with Facebook, twitter and Flickr applications which allow them to stay connected to friends and family when out and about with the minimum of fuss.  Music fans are sure to be impressed with the versatile internal media player which supports a number of different video and music file formats whilst a stereo FM radio player with RDS is included alongside a number of pre-installed games.

Thanks to its excellent range of features, the HTC Desire has proven popular and looks set to remain popular for the foreseeable future as it ticks all the boxes.
