HTC Desire with No Network Locks - HTC Desire SIM Free

The HTC Desire has now been released without any network locks, the SIM Free HTC Desire is open to all networks allowing the consumer to connect this latest HTC phone to any network using their own SIM card.

The new HTC Desire has now been made available as a SIM Free phone, this latest Android 2.1 handset is the most advanced device to be released by HTC to date and features a brilliant AMOLED display.
This main touch screen display measures a large 3.7 inches making it the third largest on any phone with the HTC HD2 ruling the roost at 4.3 inches and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 a close second at 4 inches, however the AMOLED technology in the HTC Desire provides a cirsp, clear and super bright display even in extreme light conditions.
The only phone to trump this technology is the new Samsung Wave which goes one step further with a Super AMOLED touch screen that claims to be even brighter.
The HTC Desire also packs in a 5.0 mega pixel camera and the manufacturers latest FriendStream application which pools together all of the users online friends activity on social networking websites as well as emails and text messages all into one continuous stream of updated information which can be display on one of the phones homescreens for quick access.
The desire also features support for Flash websites, something that was not present in previous models and allows the user to view almost any website on the internet as they would a home computer or laptop. Other key features include WiFi, HSDPA and Bluetooth for wireless connections and data transfer plus the HTC Sense user interface running over the top of the Android software for a smooth and quick user experience.
This new handset also incorporates the fastest processor currently available on the market at 1Ghz, this same speed is generated from a few other handsets including the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Acer neoTouch F1, Google Nexus One and the little heard of Toshiba TG01.
All of these are direct competition to the Desire phone with others being the Motorola Milestone, Nokia X6 and Nokia N900 plus the new Samsung Wave and two new miniature Android phones from Sony Ericsson, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro editions.
The SIM Free HTC Desire handset is completely unlocked to all network operators, this allows the consumer to use any contract or pay as you go SIM card in their new phone and transfer not only their mobile number but also any contacts that they have saved to their SIM card.
There is also a further network release expected for this top of the range HTC phone from 3 Mobile, network that have already picked up the phone include Vodafone, OrangeFree Articles, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
