Nokia C6 - A Great Looking Smartphone

The Nokia has recently released one of its later Smartphones, the Nokia C6.

This comes with all the features you’d expect from modern Smartphone and utilises the combination of both touch screen navigation and a full QWERTY keyboard for efficiency of entering text.

Its key features include a five mega pixel digital camera,Nokia C6 - A Great Looking Smartphone Articles MP3 ringtones, Wi-Fi Internet access and social networking integration.  All of these features are in a handset measuring just 113x 53x 16.8 mm and weighing in at just 150 g.  This makes it a pocket friendly phone which is comfortable to hold and use.

The Nokia C6 has an impressive 3.2 inch TFT resistive touchscreen which utilises a pixel layout of 360x 640 pixels.  This offers great display quality thanks to the ability to display up to 16M colours simultaneously.  This makes it perfect for viewing photos and video files, which can be viewed in both portrait and landscape thanks to the built in accelerometer sensor.

Users of the Nokia C6 can carry out fuss free handsfree communication thanks to an easy to use speakerphone and a 3.5 mm audio Jack which can accommodate both earphones for listening to music via the internal media player, and handsfree headsets.  Vibration and ringing alert users to incoming calls and messages with the option to assign MP3 files as ringtones allowing users to customise sound of the phone.

The Nokia C6 has a large internal phonebook which can store what seems like an unlimited amount of entries and fields and also has the popular Photocall function.  This allows users to pick a photo to assign to each contact in the phonebook.  240 MB of internal storage is provided as standard for storage of data such as media files.  Should further storage be required, a 2 GB memory card is included in the microSD card slot.  This card slot can accommodate a card of up to 16 GB which offers the potential to store an entire digital music collection.

The Nokia C6 offers access to the Internet via both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.  In areas with 3G coverage, an HSDPA connection provides speeds of up to 3.6 mega bytes per second; however a faster connection can be achieved by utilising local Wi-Fi Networks where available.  Cellular networks are connected to thanks to class 32 versions of both EDGE and GPRS.  In order to connect to other devices, Bluetooth and micro USB ports are included.

Fans of mobile phone photography will be impressed with the five mega pixel digital camera.  Thanks to its high operating pixel resolution, the resulting images are of good quality, and they can be taken with the minimum of fuss thanks to Autofocus and an LED flash.  Geo-tagging is also included which automatically records the location at which a photo was taken thanks to GPS.  Users can also shoot video footage on the camera in VGA quality at 30 frames per second, along with a secondary camera which operates in QVGA.
