The Samsung Omnia 7 is the first handset from the manufacturer to feature the new Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system. As well as the software, it boasts a number of impressive key features such as a 5 mega pixel camera, 4 inch touchscreen and heaps of internal storage.

The Samsung Omnia 7 comes equipped with a 5 mega pixel digital camera which is capable of taking superb quality still images thanks to its high operating pixel resolution along with credentials such as Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilisation and even geo-tagging, the latter of which functions thanks to GPS and allows users to keep track of where they took their photos or shot there videos.  The camera can shoot video footage in 720p high definition as an alternative to taking still images.

 

Microsoft Windows Phone 7 is the operating system of choice, and along with a powerful 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor offers a fantastic user experience thanks to its lightning fast response times, meaning everything from the operating the touch screen to watch in the movies and playing games is ultra responsive with virtually zero lag time.

 

Thanks to its Microsoft OS, the handset comes with a Microsoft Office document viewer/editor whilst it also sports and media player, radio player, pre-installed games and social networking integration as well as support for a number of different messaging formats such as SMS, MMS, E mail, push E mail and IM.
