The new Samsung Wave has now been launched on T-Mobile pay monthly deals, the Samsung S8500 Wave is the only mobile phone to offer the new Super AMOLED screen technology as well as the new Bada operating system.

Along with the internet bundles is a choice of free inclusive minutes and in most cases unlimited text messages to help the consumer match their exact usage requirements.This is the first ever mobile phone to feature the new Super AMOLED screen technology which the manufacturer is calling SAMOLED, used in both LCD and LED TVs this new mobile technology offers a clear and crisp display with deeper more vibrant colours.To make full use of this new screen the Samsung S8500 Wave also support 720p HD video recording so that video playback is far clearer on the main display and clips can also be instantly uploaded to Youtube to share with the world.Another first for a Samsung handset is the new TouchWiz 3.0 user interface which offers a number of customizable home screens with one acting as a multimedia player and other allowing for widgets and shortcuts to the users favourite programs.There is also access to the Samsung Apps store where users can download hundreds of new applications to further enhance their experience, WiFi, HDSPA, Bluetooth and GPS are also included for connections on the move as well as internet access.The main camera is a 5.0 mega pixel lens with autofocus and a flash for low light photography, ther is also a comprehensive multimedia player supporting a wide range of file extensions.The Samsung Wave is one of very few handsets currently able to record HD quality video, the HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson Vivaz are two others with more planned for launch this year.Although initially released on T-Mobile the Samsung S8500 Wave is expected to be picked up by further network partners over the coming days with Orange and Vodafone confirming that they will be stocking this top of the range Samsung phone.
