With dimensions of 122x 68x 11.2mm,The HTC HD7 Provides Style And Substance Articles the HTC HD7 is relatively compact but still manages to fit a large 4.3 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen on the front of the handset. Able to display 16 million colours, this is great for viewing HD videos, photos, and playing games. With a pixel resolution of 480x 800, great quality viewing is assured. The touchscreen also offers a great method of navigating the user interface, which in this case utilises the innovative and convenient tile layout of the new operating system. It allows users to quickly and easily find exactly what they are looking for, making it a very simple phone to use considering the levels of technology within.

Able to store a seemingly unlimited number of contacts, the HTC HD7 provides a spacious internal phonebook, whilst file storage is in the shape of 8GB of internal memory. Such a level of storage essentially eliminates the need for expandable storage such as a micro SD slot, as 8 GB is sure to prove ample to the needs of most users.

Class 32 GPRS and EDGE are utilised to keep the handset connected to the appropriate cellular networks, whilst internet access is provided by 3G coverage at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, as well as Wi-Fi. The latter allows users to connect to local wireless internet routers and gain a faster browsing experience by taking advantage of the broadband connection provided by these. Bluetooth and micro USB connections allow the handset to be connected to other devices whereby a number of different tasks can be carried out.

A 5 megapixel camera is included which does a great job of taking high quality still images thanks to its pixel resolution of 2592x 1944. It also features autofocus and a dual-LED flash, as well as geo-tagging which tags the location at which a photo was taken. This functions thanks to GPS. Of course the camera can also shoot video, and this is in superb quality HD at 720p. Video can be instantly uploaded to YouTube thanks to a dedicated client for the popular video website.

The Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system comes with a number of Microsoft bells and whistles such as Bing Maps, Pocket Office (compatible with MS Office documents), as well as Facebook and Twitter integration to keep social networking enthusiasts happy.

A 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a staple in the smartphone world, which is testament to its reliability, allows the OS to handle demanding applications with ease and provides a speedy user experience.

The HTC HD7 offers a fresh new alternative in a smartphone arena which has recently been dominated by a select few models and operating systems. For this reason, along with its sister handsets, it looks set to be a popular choice for those looking for something different.
