The recently announced Nokia C6 offers the epitome of what the manufacturer is capable of. With its long list of specifications, and refreshing styling with a full QWERTY keyboard, this looks set to be a popular handset on its release in the 2nd quarter of 2010.

Vibration and MP3 ringtones are the primary means of alerting users to incoming calls and messages. It also allows users to customise their handset so they can hear a song of their choice every time the phone rings. A built in speakerphone system and a 3.5mm audio jack allow users to talk hands free on the move.

 

A variety of different connectivity methods are utilised by the C6 in order to stay connected to both cellular networks and the internet. The C6 features a spacious internal phonebook which can store a practically unlimited number of entries. This is then displayed every time that person calls or sends a message. 240 MB of internal memory is provided for storage of files such as music tracks or video files. A micro SD slot has a pre-installed 2 GB memory card for the same purpose but this can be swapped for a memory card of up to 16 GB to gain a large amount of storage.

 

The built in digital camera boasts 5 Mega pixels. This operates at a pixel resolution of 2592x1944 pixels so the budding photographers out there have a powerful camera to play with, and take excellent quality snapshots. Several image enhancing features are included with the camera’s software, including geo-tagging, face and smile detection, autofocus and LED flash. It also has the ability to shoot video. This is in VGA quality at 30 frames per second.
