  • Backup your iOS device. You can either back up with iCloud or with your computer.
    To Back up with iCloud, just follow these steps:
  1. First, connect your device to a WiFi network. 
  2. You go to Settings > [your name], and tap iCloud.
  3. Tap iCloud Backup.
  4. After that, tap Back Up Now. You should stay connected to your WiFi network until the process completes.
    If you want to check the progress and confirm whether the backup is complete, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud Backup. There, you will see the date and time of your last backup.
    To back up with your computer, follow these steps: 
  1. You should first connect your device to your computer. Then, open Finder or iTunes. 
  2. You will see a message asking for your device passcode or to Trust This Computer. You should follow the onscreen steps. If you forgot your passcode, you can get help. 
  3. Look for your iPhone on your computer. 
  4. You need to encrypt your backup if you want to save Health and Activity data from your iPhone. How? First, select the box called Encrypt [device] backup and create a password. However, if your device doesn't use a SIM card, you should contact your wireless service provider to suspend service if necessary.

How to arrange repair service for your iPhone?

  1. Browse to Apple's iPhone support page and sign in with your Apple ID. You can also click the Enter the Serial Number of your Device link under the Sign In button. To get your iPhone's serial number, go to Settings > General > About > Serial Number. 
  2. In the Repairs and Service Coverage section, click Set up a repair. 

Now that you're in the support topics window, if your iPhone has some type of physical damage, click Repairs & Physical Damage. Here's what you need to do next:

  1. Select what best describes the type of physical damage you have.   2. After that, you can pick if you want to send your iPhone for repair or to bring it in for repair.
