Free Registry Cleaner - Do We Still Need To Pay?

There are many freeware registry cleaners around, why do we still need to pay for the commercial registry cleaner? In this article I will outline the pros and cons between this 2 type of software, and help you decide whether to proceed with free registry cleaner or commercial edition.

Freeware Pros - It is free! It detects 50% of overall errors, good enough to keep normal computer running.

Freeware Cons - Does not have regular updates and good support.

Commercial Pros - Better support, frequent update, perform faster and more effective.

Commercial Cons - Not free, and some vendor charged very high.

That is the overall comparison between free registry cleaner and commercial edition. When we need more detail comparisons, it all comes to one on one comparison. You may compare the freeware product to the other commercial product, and outline every functionality and benefits.

I will cut to the chase, let's compare Registry Easy and Regcure with various freeware cleaners.

Registry Easy detects more errors and provides more tools as compare to freeware cleaners.

RegCure can scan any computer faster than other registry cleaner, including Registry Easy, but provide fewer features. Having said that, it still detects more errors than freeware cleaners.

Both commercial cleaners cost some money, but at the end of the day, it depends on what you want. If you are heavy computer user who requires installing, uninstalling and testing different software, you should get commercial cleaners. However, if you are just an office user, who never use more than 10 software, don't bother to buy themComputer Technology Articles, use the free registry cleaner is good enough unless you have lots of money to spend!
