Great Plains functional and technical consulting requires years of practice and experience,Great Plains Dynamics GP consulting partner in San Diego, California Articles plus the consultants should preferably have industry expertise.  We invite you to give us a call, request business processes mapping and executive presentation.  Some GP highlights:

1.       Technology.  GP is available on Microsoft SQL Server DB platform exclusively, if you are on older version, prior to 8.0: 7.5, 7.0, 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 4.0 then your DB platform could be Pervasive SQL or Ctree – then you should consider version upgrade and migration to MS SQL Server.  GP user workstation is Dexterity application and if you need modifications to existing business logic or new custom features, please feel free to request Dex programming quote

2.       eCommerce integrations.  If you already have functional and robust e-commerce website and supporting programmers, then you should review several integrating scenarios: eConnect programming, SQL stored procedures, Great Plains Integration Manager scheduled integrations.  Both eConnect and IM gives you reliable and relatively rapid integration deployment.  Integration Manager typically doesn’t need custom scripting (however you can do it via VBA scripting and data translation), where eConnect is just SDK and requires you to do coding in SQL, C# or VB or other tool

3.       Software Licenses and Annual Enhancement program.  If you have GP already implemented and you wish to purchase new user licenses or add modules, you should be in good standing or in essence current in Annual Enhancement program.  If you are not, please check with us on re-enrollment options and you specific way to come back
