Other highlights of the festival include London Concert Orchestra, the performance of Handel's Messiah and the performance of Mozart by candlelight. 

Like previous year, Southbank Centre will be enthralling thousands of revelers with the Christmas at Southbank Centre festival. Celebrations will start on 02nd December 2011 – 11th January 2012 and comprise a variety of live music shows and exciting events. Leave no chance to spoil yourself in the delicious festive foods offered at many places in the festival. Irrespective of your age, you can have enormous fun in this festival where a number of popular artists will be presenting their shows. You can catch live performances by Ian Shaw and Claire Martin (popular jazz artists) and famous British orchestra groups including the Britten Sinfonia and the Spaghetti Western Orchestra. Christmas at Southbank Centre festival will be a special attraction for chocolate lovers. Shoppers can splurge there heart out at the traditional German Christmas market organized at South Bank where they can buy handcrafted goods, wooden toys, jewellery, and Christmas tree decorations. 

If you are looking forward to enjoy some traditional Christmas festivities, head to the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington. From 12th December 2011 – 24th December 2011, audiences at this world famous concert hall will be able to enjoy Christmas carol, festive chorals and enchanting music. Seasonal concerts will be taking place every day and attract music lovers from around the city. Concerts by candlelight will include works of Handel and Mozart and put everyone in festive mood. Natasha Kaplinsky will be hosting the BT charity Christmas concert whereas the King's College Choir will belt out a number of popular festive songs.
