It's all about fairytale towns this time. Due to their amount in the recent time you must have strong skills of breaking spells and resquing princesses. Love Chronicles: The Spell isn't an exception and your task here is to save an entire kingdom that's been put to sleep by an evil old witch. And while the game does a good job of creating a world that's fun to explore, it may be a bit too easy for veterans of the genre.

The game supposes you to play as a prince who happened to travel to the cursed kingdom and learn about its misfortune from a mysterious old man, and as a real hero he decided to reverse the magical spell. This task will mean for you to travel to each different area of the kingdom and disenchant everyone who lives there.

The world you'll have to explore consists of a number of different areas - such as the castle,Love Chronicles: The Spell Articles blacksmith, and garden - all of which are held together by a world map. From here, you can choose to travel to any destination which has been already unlocked by you. Once you'veselected an area to be explored, the game feels very familiar to most hidden object games, though with one important difference: everything you are searching for is something you'll actually need in the game. Whatever it is, you're never searching for useless objects.

There going to be pretty much work for you as many of the pieces you'll need to make one object are scattered across numerous areas. Or, it may happen that you'll find an object in one area that needs to be used elsewhere. I personally kept thanking developers that the game features a very handy quick travel feature that allows you to get wherever you need to be as fast as possible. Otherwise it would have been tough enough.

There is also another neat feature for you to make the gameplay more comfortable: a magnifying glass, making it easier to find some of the trickier objects. It definitely comes in handy when it comes to finding some of the smaller pieces, and towards the end of the game you'll have no choice but to make use of it. However, that doesn't mean that the hidden items are too hard to find. I would rather say the opposite.

Though Love Chronicles: The Spell is a relatively easy to play game, it can't be called a very relaxing game to play. This is further enhanced by both the visuals and soundtrack with detailed, hand painted graphics making the game a joy to look at.

A very useful tip in conclusion: collect 65 leaves during you explore locations as you are going to face this task at the later stages.

In general, Love Chronicles: The Spell is a solid HOG with its engaging story and a few unique features. If you're about to unwind, let Love Chronicles put you under its spell.
