UAC is prompted when a user tries to initiate the following task:

·         Installing and uninstalling software.

·         Configuring Network connection settings.

·         Installing Device drivers.

·         Modifying UAC settings.

·         Configuring Registry files.

·         Changing User’s account privileges.

·         Modifying Firewall settings.

·         Adding or removing users account.

·         Configuring Windows update settings.

·         Creating and restoring computer backup.

·         Installing and modifying ActiveX controls.

·         Configuring system settings (making changes in %System root% or C:/program files).

·         Creating system image.

·         Configuring Network Settings.

·         Modifying other’s user data.

Thus it creates a hurdle for everyone who tries to change your computer’s settings. You can disable UAC by following the procedure mentioned below as:

1.      Click on the Start button and select Control Panel from the Start menu.

2.      In Control Panel window select User Accounts.

3.      In the User Accounts window click on the User Accounts to configure the Admin account.

4.      Then you have to select Turn User Account Control on or off in the User Accounts task window.

5.      You also have to configure Admin Approval Mode to disable UAC. In the Admin Approval mode when the User Account Control message appears on your screen make a click on Continue button.

6.      Then clear the checkbox having “Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer” and then click OK to apply changes.

7.      For making changes to make affect Restart or Reboot your computer. Click on Restart now to apply the changes or click on Restart later option and close User Accounts tasks window.
