We've compiled these Seven Tips to help home business and online business owners avoid the pitfalls that sink to many worthy home business enterprises. 1. Start With Someone Elses' Product(s) that are proven to be unique and in high demand You need to learn the incredible ins and outs of Internet marketing before building a whole home business around it. Find an excellent affiliate product and learn how to market it successfully. The creator of this product has invested incredible amounts of time and money creating this product and done all the testing - just so you can be successful! 2. You Product Has A Proven, Duplicatable Marketing System One way to know if you have found a good product to market is if the marketing system is first class. Does it have lead capture pages? Powerful sales pages? Can you see stats of past success? Are autoresponder emails, ezine ads, banners, etc., that have been proven to convert sales, been provided? If not, don't risk marketing the product, no matter how much you like it? 3. Is there support and training beyond a "sponsor?" Does the company offering you the product as an affiliate have a real live human you can talk to with questions and coaching? Does it provide training resources, teleconferences, live training events, etc.? If it doesn't, run the other way! You don't want to get involved with what seems like a great product and then have to learn how to market it all by yourself! 4. Does The Company Give Back? These days, there are thousands of fly-by-night companies out there hawking the latest mlm, network marketing and affiliate programs, eager to sign you up to make money for them. One way you can tell the integrity of a company is if they proudly display the ways in which they give back with their success.
