If you happen to be a stay at home mom that is looking to bring in extra income, I can truly relate to your position. It can be a daunting task to weed through site after site, having to read and research, all the while putting up with the over the top claims that companies are making in reference to all the money that their online business opportunity can do for you. I was in your same situation and I spent months researching the web to find the best online business opportunity for me. But once I got there, I found out that I knew nothing about how to make my new business flourish. I have to say that the most important schooling that I received were some tips on how to market or bring traffic to my website. Today, I would like to share these three tips with you in hopes of making you more aware of what you can do to bring more quality traffic to your website.

One of my very good friends, who operates an extremely successful online business, shared these 3 tips with me. Three things that would be easy for me to do and would drive more traffic to my website and help me market my business.

1. Learn the advantage of article writing. Article writing is a free way to get your online business name known. If you have already started an online business, then you have a article subject. Write articles about the same subject as your business and then post your articles on free article websites. You will have the opportunity to put all of your information, including a link to your website, as a tag on the bottom of each article that you submit. If your readers like your article enough, they might just be inclined to click on your link and read about your products. The more people that click through to your website the better rankings you get with the search engines. Keep in mind that there are article submission sites that will take one of your articles and send it out to hundreds of other sites with in a few minutes.

2. Networking can be done anywhere, this includes online or offline. If you are talking about networking online, then joining some social websites could be a good way to do this. Sites like offer communities of folks that you could contact. Always include your website link in the profile that you create. Just because you have an online business does not mean that your networking has to be limited to online options. You should take every opportunity that you have in your day to day life to let people know about your business. Make up some cards with your website on them and attend community meetings that might pertain to your business.

3. Blogging can be a good thing, even though it may seem as if blogging is just for the casual user, it can actually be a really good way to form business relationships. Write your own blogs and also comment and answer questions on others blogs and you might find yourself becoming more visible by the minute. Not only will this establish you as an expert in your business niche, but this will also increase your traffic as well. Also, there are certain sites that will distribute your blog with in minutes to all the popular blog sites.
