SSC is known for its competitive exams, it conducts various competitive exams for a non-gazetted post every year. This article describes the process of downloading the admit card.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year conducts the competitive examination for the non-gazetted posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) that includes Armed forces like CRPF,Download SSC Admit Card Articles BSF, CISF, ITBP.  To be précised, the exam is conducted for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF except for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for which the vacancies are available for Assistant Sub-Inspector post.

The exam for the year 2017 is scheduled to be conducted from 1st July 2017 to 7th July 2017 for which the admit card has been released by the SSC. The students who had applied for the post of ASI & SI in CPO through SSC can now download the SSC Admit Card from the official website of the SSC following the procedure is given below:

1)    Go to the official website of SSC.

2)    Click on the Admit Card link given in the header on the home page.

3)    A list of regions will pop up. Select the region from which you have filled the application form.

4)    The candidate will be redirected to the regional website of the SSC.

5)    Search for the link that asks to download the Admit Card for ASI & SI CPO 2017 and click on it.

6)    Enter the Registration ID and date of birth.

7)    Download the Admit Card in the PDF form.

8)    Check all the details given in the Admit Card to be correct.

Details of the Vacancies:

Under the Government of India, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits for various posts in central government department and ministries. For the recruitment of Sub-Inspector in CPO 2017, SSC released the notification for 2221 vacancies. The divisions notified by the SSC in different force type are-

Male Candidates-

Delhi Police Sub-Inspector - 616

CAPF Sub-Inspector - 697

CISF Assistant Sub-Inspector – 507

Female Candidates-

Delhi Police Sub-Inspector - 256

CAPF Sub-Inspector - 89

CISF Assistant Sub-Inspector – 56

Scheme of the Examination:

The procedure of the examination is divided into three sections.

Part 1-

Part 1 consists of a paper of 200 marks that the candidate needs to complete it in 2 hours duration. The paper is divided into four sections of 50 marks each. The nature of the exam is of Objective type.

Section 1- General Intelligence and Reasoning

Section 2- General Knowledge and General Awareness

Section 3- Quantitative Aptitude

Section 4- English Comprehension

Part 2-

The candidates who will successfully clear the Part 1 process will have to appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Medical Test. The candidates who will clear the PET and Medical will be allowed to appear for the further examination.

Part 3-

This part will comprise of one paper of 200 marks to be completed in 2 hours duration. The paper will comprise of questions from English Comprehension and language. The candidate’s understanding of English Language will be checked through the medium of the paper. The exam will be conducted on 8th October and the nature of the paper would be of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
