In the current environment,How to Choose Research Topic Articles it is quite difficult for the students to choose an appropriate topic for their dissertation project as gets to become the most confusing part as far as conducting a research is concerned. In the selection of a research topic and to carry-out the research project quite significantly, it is essential for the students to identify their interest area and to determine the current relevance of the chosen topic, which is not an easy task at all, the reason being all the complexities involved in the making of a human mind. The first thing that should be considered by the student in selecting the topic for their dissertation assignment is their interest area. The interest area could be identified through the stream of students in which they are doing their course in a particular university. For example, if a student is doing his course in finance, then he/she should go for his research topic, which is somehow related to finance field. Similar is the case with the student of international business, retail, marketing, human resource, etc. It is because a student could get good marks only in the case, when his/her topic is related to its subject area. It will also be good for the student if he/she gets approval from his/her supervisor or tutor for the topic as it will help them to avoid the similarity of research topics opted by the other students. The next thing that should be considered by the students while selecting the research topic is its effectiveness to explore something new or to add something new in the area that has been explored earlier. Most of the students make it wrong while choosing topic for their dissertation project. They just choose a simple topic without finding something new or interesting and it makes them failed or cause a lower grade. To get good marks, it is essential to be specific and interesting throughout the whole research. To make the topic more specific and interesting, a brainstorming session should be conducted by the students that will help them to tell about the factors that are still unexplored and require some improvements due to changes in environment and technologies. After this session, the student will find the several areas in which he/she could explore something new and could increase the effectiveness of its dissertation project to get good grades. While choosing the topic a student must make sure that there are plenty of books, journal articles as well as magazine articles available on the chosen topic. For that purpose, students have the option of searching the articles online. After finding the material available, one must take care of the fact whether those articles can be used in one’s country or not. The formation of research topic will also be more effective if a case study is included in the topic as it will help to make the topic specific instead of a broad topic that reduces the significance of the researcher to explore the major aspect that he decided at the earlier. It will help the student to achieve the specific objectives and get the desired results.
