Opening Up Future Prospects Through BSEB For The Secondary School Students
After the school days are over, the life beyond is challenging and full of prospective opportunities to catch hold of. Chances are there knocking on the door and it is in the hands of the students to unlock the box of prospects.
The Bihar School Examination Board is a constituted body which is responsible for conducting the final exam after the secondary schooling of the students. Since the exam is responsible for testing the knowledge gained in the secondary school level and is being conducted by the board in the same pattern all over the state, there is a uniformity maintained throughout. Students from all over the state are required to appear in this board exam before they get their pass certificates from the secondary school.
All those schools which are affiliated to the board are bound to conduct the tests in their schools or other schools according to the rules and regulations and allow the students to appear in the exams. BSEB is unique in the nature that the same questions are put for all the students of the affiliated schools at the same time and date and therefore there is a uniformity maintained throughout the schools. When such a flavour is found with the exam, it is obvious that there must be some significance associated with it. Students are benefited by the Bihar Board exam due to the following reasons:
-It is after the appearance in the exams and passing it successfully, that the students can go for higher education in colleges or can pursue any other technical course. For many of the entrance exams also, the minimum eligibility criterion for education qualification is a pass in the Bihar Board exam. After passing this secondary school test, the students can sit for different entrance exams or can take admissions into higher courses.
-The marks or grades obtained in the BSEB exam are taken into consideration during many job applications and into various services under the purview of the state public service commission of the Bihar state.
-Sometimes, a higher mark in the state secondary school exam is required for direct admissions into few colleges in the state as well as in the country. People who have secured good marks in the exam can get a slight edge over others, when it comes to entry into colleges for higher education or for the purpose of being selected for different jobs.
Along with being a step towards making the exam pattern uniform in the state of Bihar in the secondary school level, the BSEB has provided a number of opportunities and prospects for the bright students. The endeavour to improve the quality of education is being adhered to, but there is also a proactive effort on part of the state government and the board to give opportunities to the meritorious students to achieve higher goals.
