A Brief History of Jazz Music

The folk songs & plantation dance music of black Americans have a lot to say regarding the early jazz. This type of music comes about all the method during the Southern United States at a few points in the eighteen hundreds.

Johnson popularized a musical style from ragtime which is branded as stride piano.
