Strategy helps to remove some of the amateurish mistakes but it does not fundamentally change the direction of play. It is up to the person to make their own luck. If they cannot achieve this then it is very hard to be successful at roulette. 3.       The myth of the predictable odds attempts to put order where there is none. This attempts to look at the mathematical theories of probability and transfer them to the practicalities of roulette. It is true that the odds can be analysed but they are not always predictable. They can always change the tactics and could land the player into serious problems. Rather than going by these myths the player should concentrate on playing well according to the rules of the game. Everything will eventually fall into place unless there is a specific obstacle that is hindering their progress.

4.       The myth of winning or losing streaks takes responsibility for the outcome game away from the player. There are times when the player will lose more than a couple of games. They then become diffident in their strategy and begin to believe that they are on a losing streak. This can mean that for practical purposes they are missing out on the opportunities to make quick money through the effective use of strategy. It is an unfortunate situation that must be addressed at the earliest opportunity. Likewise if they win a few games it is not an indicator that they are going to win all the games. This overconfidence can be just as bad as the lack of confidence. The middle point is when the player knows that losing and winning is part of the life of roulette professionals.
