Games to Play at Weddings and Family Gatherings

We humans by nature are very fickle minded people. We might be in awe of something one moment, and altogether hate it, in the very next moment. We need to kill time and boredom if we want to stay away from a monotonous and a mechanical way of living.

Some ways to do this, without going overboard with radical changes, are playing funny games that require almost no pre-arrangements, are exciting and involving, get over soon and almost have a dash of humor.

Some funny games that can be played at weddings, to help break the ice and encourage conversation among the guests, involve passing the buck, guessing, play-acting, or almost any other random talent. In pass the buck; quite similar to the musical chairs, an amount of money is passed around while the music plays. When the music stops, the one holding the note is asked to do some task. If they do it, the money is theirs; otherwise, it just gets passed onto the next round, thus adding to the booty that is being played for.

In the blindfold game, the groom could be blindfolded and asked to identify his wife from a group of five barefooted women, none of whom are actually the bride, by feeling their feet. The game could be even funnier if men are chosen instead of women. Similarly, for the brides, they could be made to feel the faces of five men who could be her groom. In guess the truth, the bride and the groom are asked questions beforehand and the same questions are put forth to the invited guests. One with the maximum correct answers wins.

Christmas, too, is a festival of joyous spirits and about having a good time. When family and friends get together, you want them to have a ball of a time while they are at your place. Remember, that Christmas celebrations are for all, young and old, so organize games that involve both. A talent game could be organized with chits with different weird tasks written on them are randomly drawn by the members, and everyone is expected to perform the required task, them being good or bad at it, not counting.

A little award show could be organized in the end of the game to award the best talents among everyone ho played. The prizes could be for best dancer, best singer, best enactingHealth Fitness Articles, and many others. Do not forget to keep the awards for the worst in each department too. They are the ones that are going to attract the higher number of votes and laughter.
