The other day I saw someone asked questions about Shawshank Redemption in the forum I used to go and I took a good look at it.

 

The question was Why Shawshank Redemption is rated the highest at IMDB? Yes, this is a good one. What exactly could have made this movie, created almost 10 years ago, reign uncontested on IMDB for such a long time?

 

When it comes to ideas on movies like Godfather, or in this case Shawshank Redemption, it seems that men are not that different as we think. I love this film so much that so far I have watched it for more than ten times. And every time I see it, I can feel something different. Prison Break, adapted on the basis of this work, also drew so many eyeballs, including mine.

 

Taking my current situation into consideration, what the movie can help now is inspire me to go for my dream and win in struggles. I have to work, but I want to write something or translate something I like and the time may be insufficient. Few know that it has been my goal to translate some literary works. I am afraid it may sound absurd or ridiculous, right? As a matter of fact, I do not hanker after overnight fame, but I can not stand someone ruin what is in fact great work. But, in order to realize the dream, I have to deal with many challenges, the firs being busy schedule. To make money I work in weekdays and am on the way to find a part-time job as a tutor working on weekends. Moreover, since the company in which I work and buy runescape accounts is about one hour and a half’s travel from my home, I have to go home and visit my family now and then. What’s worse, my boyfriend does not work in the same place with me, and the only possible time for us being together would be weekends. And, the above are what I have been thinking these days and what I get exhausted from. I wonder how to balance the time for the important and urgent.

 

Thank-goodness! I read this quest about Shawshank Redemption and I decided to learn from Andy. Yes, Andy. This man survived impossibilities and never lost hope. Another point for my admiration to Andy is that he finds out who he is and tries hard to be the one he decides to be no matter what happens.
