  1. Dealing – when cards are distributed to all players, such process is known as dealing.

  3. Open Card – the game begins when all players hold 13 cards each and a card is kept face up which is visible to all, such card is an open card.
  4. Closed Deck or Stock Pile – all the remaining cards post distribution are kept aside for later use, such cards amount to closed deck.
  5. Open Deck or Discard Pile - each card which is rejected by a player during the game is kept above open card in a pile, facing upwards.
  6. Drop – anyone can leave the game before his/ her turn arrives. In case a player pack up without picking up a single card then it is an Initial drop otherwise Middle Drop.
  7. Sequence/ Run – here a player is required to arrange consecutive cards of same suit in a particular sequence of 3, 4 or 5.
  8. Three Cards step/ Run – it is same as stated above, just that a smaller version is called for.
  9. Set– same number card from different suits, maximum a set of 4 cards is allowed.
  10. Closing card – this card facing down is used to announce victory.

Some standard Rules:

  1. “As 1 joker from each deck is used as part of the game, the selection is done on random basis after dealing and is kept face up.
  2. In first or every turn, a player is subject to pick a card either from an open deck or from the closed one.
