Revivals Of Poster Art And Its Exhibitions

Before the era of globalizes amusement made movie posters art look the same in every country for the advertisements. Polish artists were creating their own adaptation of posters for the internal market to create profit.

Resultantly, the whole school of artists trained in the art of the poster designing.  In the end of the 19th Century to the prominent era of the film posters throughout the 20th Century was the surrounded by the illustrations of poster art in the field of publications.

 The territory was split and controlled by Russia, Austria and Prussia but still Poland, the area, whole begin this art of posters was missing from the map of the world.  Krakow, known by the writers, poets and artists, who had traveled to Europe and had come in interacted with the modern culture and trends of that time. The poster art had just been born in France and rapidly influenced by the achievements of the French masters of this new art type. All these Polish artists chose the poster as the new medium of expression of events and other mode of relevant publicities. They were well respected, connected with the art school, where the posters were first designed.

The first Polish poster art appeared on a public event in the 18902s at the hand of outstanding painters from the world especially from the painters and artist from Poland. They all were influenced by the Jugendstil and the Secessionist movements; justifiably they all painted posters, that were art-related, announcing exhibitions, theaters and ballet performances of that era as we all knows the theater and art was the favorable amongst people in the past . Their poster art work was vastly popular, which led to the first International Exhibition of the poster being held in Krakow in 1898, which went with success and started the trend of posters around the world.
