Sports betting systems
I would very much like to tell you a sports betting system that worked 100% of the time and offered no risk. However I cannot, the very nature of sports betting means system or no system you are still risking your hard earned money. This said some people do believe certain systems work for them, Iím sceptical and you should really be careful with progressive betting, but here are a few:
The Parlay System is one of the most well-known sports betting systems and is most commonly used in horseracing.† The Parlay System has a pyramid effect where by the original wager plus winnings are placed on successive wagers. In simple terms you are re-investing your winnings on succeeding bets. It can be argued the Parlay System offers the least amount of risk.
Martingale System is the most well-known sports betting system in the world.† The Martingale System of sports betting is based on the probability of losing infinite times in a row.†† It is applied by starting with one bet, and starting again if you win.† However, if you lose, you double your bet, and each time you lose, you double your last lost bet.†† As believed, this will eventually makes you win the betting and when you win you would recover all your lost bets plus one unit profit against your initial wager.† The most important sentence when it comes to Martingale is "double you stake after you lose and start again when you win". The Martingale is an extremely risky system; many consecutive losses could mean you are staking incredibly high amounts of money and there is no guarantee you wonít lose that as well.
The Paroli System is said to be the opposite of Martingale. The difference lies on the idea that on Paroli, you start with one bet and increase the bet when you win rather than you lose.†† The main advantage is that you do not need a large bankroll.† The system lets the profit run and cuts short the losses.
As mentioned previously no system guarantees a long term profit and caution should be taken if you choose to carry out a betting system. †Any gambling system can give you false hope and mean you lose a lot of money. The same systems above can also be used in casino games; Iíve read that some so called casino system websites tell you to test the systems on free play modes. The only problem there is the casino advantage is normally lower on free play modes, so you win more which provides false hope.
