The 4 Methods Used TO Cheat CasinosYou may have heard that casinos don't like cheaters, and are more than willing to rough up any rule breakers who are defying the odds and taking home money illegally. When it comes to fraud or felony charges, you will only get into real trouble if you use and electronic aid or a similar device to try and cheat and steal money from casinos.Counting Cards is not actually
considered a criminal offense however it is left up to the casino to
decide whether to ban you, and they often will, they will also make
it seem a much greater offense than it is to scare potential card
counters away. Casino
security departments and their guards can be rather unpleasant
cheating is certainly not recommended, however here are 4 tip on how
people sometimes cheat casinos. 1. Card Counting in Blackjack There is
a classic method known as 'hi-lo' and it works like this - WHen the
cards are shuffled and dealt the player starts at 0. For every ace,
10 or face card that is dealt you take 1 point away from the total.
For every 2-6 that is dealt you add a point to the total. Cards that
are 7, 8 or 9 are zero points. Before each hand divide your count by
the number of decks that are left. The time to bet is when you get a
total of +2. Word of warning, try not to move your lips as you count
the cards or the casinos may catch onto the fact that you are
counting cards! 2. Poker Marking poker
is often an easier game to rig as you are playing against other
players rather than playing against the house itself. People 'mark'
cards in a variety of ways including scratching the corner of a card
with a fingernail, shading parts of the card or blocking parts of the
card out. A cheater may then use special contact lenses or glasses to
see these 'marks' as they may or may not be visible to the naked eye. 3.Craps - Dicing with the dice. Craps
is a game of rolling dice and betting on the outcome of the throw.
SOmeone looking to cheat at craps may slip 'altered dice' into the
came. These dice may be rounded on one side or weighted differnetly
than normal dice in order to increase the odds of a high number. A
player may also try to manipulate the dice throw by placing the
desired number face up in the palm of their hand and then throwing
the dice in such a way that there is more chance that the dice will
land with the desired number showing. Casinos are obviously aware of
this technique and are on the look out for it so be careful. 4.Outsmarting the Slot Machines Though
slot machines are improving in technology, some are still susceptible
to the old "fake quarter" trick, so as long as the fake is
the same size, makeup and density as the casino-provided quarters.
